The Antares Re Agriculture team are deeply involved in the risk management of two challenges faced by our clients in today’s world:  climate change and global health.  We reinsure crop, livestock, aquaculture, bloodstock and forestry risks worldwide. The crop and forestry treaties mainly cover climatic events such as hail, drought and wildfires.  The bloodstock, livestock and aquaculture risks that we underwrite often include additional coverages, for example, against diseases. 

Beyond the traditional agriculture reinsurance business, we are also involved with pet and equine health insurance MGA business and are selectively looking into new opportunities such as index business and facultative solutions. ​​​​​​​
