Our Casualty & Motor team have many years of experience in the motor and casualty space, supported by strong Actuarial and Claims teams.  The account written by Antares Re is predominantly composed of motor business and is split between the UK and the International business

For the UK account, we write unlimited excess of loss reinsurance for a select group of smaller market insurance companies, as well as proportional treaties for insurers and MGAs sourced via our EU risk carrier, QIC Europe Limited, or third-party capacity. The proportional business makes up the bulk of our UK portfolio, where our focus clients specialise in a variety of motor segments.  For example, we have clients who specialise in Classic Cars, Fleets, Commercial SME and non-standard Private Car.

On the International side, we target proportional reinsurance of MGAs where the binder holder has a long-standing history of specialism in their field. We write a range of proportional treaties including expatriates, commercial vehicles, standard and non-standard motor.
